Linkspace by Ocho privacy policy

What data the Linkspace by Ocho app handles, why it handles it, and the rights you have over it.

Linkspace by Ocho (“the app”) is a mobile editor for Linkspace pages: public “link in bio” web pages that businesses create with OchoHub. It is operated by 8Vision Digital Ltd (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the app handles and why.

Who the app is for

The app is used by team members of businesses that use OchoHub. You sign in with the OchoHub account issued by your organisation; the app cannot be used without one.

Data we collect and why

  • Account details. You sign in with an email address and password. Authentication is provided by Google Firebase. Your name, role and organisation are shown on the app’s Account screen.
  • Page content. The page names, web addresses, bios, links and social profile addresses you enter are stored in your organisation’s OchoHub workspace. Anything on a page you publish is public: that is the purpose of a Linkspace page.
  • Photos and videos. Profile images, backgrounds, link thumbnails and header videos you choose are uploaded to your organisation’s OchoHub workspace so they can be shown on your pages. The app accesses only the photos and videos you choose.
  • Biometrics. Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint or your device passcode is used to unlock the app. Biometric data never leaves the device and is handled entirely by the operating system; we have no access to it.
  • Click totals. The app shows how many times the links on each page have been clicked. These are counts of visits to the public web page and do not identify you.

What we do not do

  • We do not collect your location.
  • We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not show advertising or use advertising trackers.

Data sharing

Data is shared only with the service provider that makes the app work: Google Firebase (authentication, database and file storage). The pages you edit are visible to other team members in your organisation’s OchoHub workspace, and published pages are visible to anyone with the link. Google processes data under its own privacy policy and our instructions.

Data retention and your rights

Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted when the account is removed. Linkspace pages belong to your organisation’s workspace and are kept until your organisation deletes them. Under UK GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Use our data deletion request page or contact us at admin@8visiondigital.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
